Growing vigorously to a tall, bushy shape, it makes an excellent garden subject, whether as a specimen tree or hedge. The foliage is dark and glossy.

Blooms are single to semi-double colour of a deep cerise, they are a shade paler at the centre and base of the petals

Ideal for screen, hedging, large containers and espaliers.
